An antifungal medication called liccan cream is used to treat fungal skin infections, including ringworm, athlete’s foot, dhobie itch, thrush, and dry, flaky skin. Use liccan cream according to your doctor’s recommended dosage and usage schedule. Avoid using it more frequently or in larger doses than recommended since this will not improve your condition more quickly and may even exacerbate any negative effects. Infections on the skin often heal in two to four weeks. If your issue doesn’t get better, let your doctor know. Maintaining a dry and clean environment around the affected area and washing your hands both before and after using the medication will help it work better. If you have athlete’s foot, change your shoes every day if you can, and wash your tights or socks well.
Dry skin, burning feeling, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site are the most frequent adverse effects of this medication. Usually not serious, these go away with time. If these continue to annoy you, give your doctor a call. If you have any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction: rash, swelling of the lips, throat, or face; difficulty swallowing or breathing; or nausea. Seek emergency medical attention. Steer clear of touching your eyes directly. If contact occurs accidentally, rinse your eyes with water and get medical help right once.
It’s unlikely that using this medication with other oral or injectable medications would impact how it works, but if you’ve recently taken a steroid-containing medication or experienced an allergic response to an antifungal medication, see your doctor before using this medication.
